The dramatic backdrop of the Torrey Pines, the cliffs, resident Ravens, dead old skeleton trees, beavertail cactus, breaking surf, kelp beds, and migrating gray whales give the viewers a sense that they have hiked down through the coastal canyons to the beach and are there taking it all in.
